Looking to get more results from the same amount of work? You can make yourself 20% stronger by stretching. In between sets, be sure to take 20 to 30 seconds to stretch muscles that you just used. Your workout will be more effective by just stretching.

Lightly exercise muscle groups you worked out the previous day. Try one or two of the same exercises you normally do but with only a fraction of the weight. This delivers more blood and oxygen to those muscles, speeding up the body’s repair process.

You need to make working out one of your top priorities. Think of exercising as a daily part of your life the same way you think of a shower as a daily event. Set aside time for your workouts, and add them to your daily list to be checked off at the end of each day. Make sure you do some sort of work out every day.

Reserve some time on your schedule every day exclusively for exercise. Even small decisions, like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, can yield significant health benefits.

Be sure to see your doctor if you experience fatigue or pain in your joints. Use an exercise journal or log to keep track of any pain.

Face the exercises that you don’t like by including them in your routine and doing them on a regular basis. The reason is that many people try to avoid the exercises that are hardest. So add those dreaded exercises to your daily routine and do them regularly.
