Staying in good physical shape is not usually very easy or much fun. That doesn’t diminish the fact that staying fit is an important part of staying healthy. Luckily, staying in shape does not require extreme challenges. A bit of time and dedication will make all the difference. You might have a lot of fun this way!
If you want to tone the triceps, you should do simple push-ups. Rather than doing regular push-ups, you can spot-tone the triceps by rotating your hands inward 45 degrees; your fingertips should be facing those of the opposite hand. This modified pushup is the most effective way to get those triceps strong and toned.
Start with the smaller weight machines and work your way up to the big ones. Your smaller muscles will get tired before your larger ones, and it also makes a lot of sense to use small dumbbells before using big ones. If you follow this plan, your small muscles can cool off while you work out the larger ones.
Always work out in comfortable clothes. If you are going to the gym, you should not be pressured to work out in fancy clothes. Wear clothes that are easy to move around in so that you won’t feel embarrassed. You need to be focused on your workouts, not what the latest fashion styles in the gym are.
Do you want to make you exercise routine super efficient? Studies have shown that stretching improves muscle strength by as much as 20%. Between each set of exercises, take twenty to thirty seconds to stretch the muscle that you just worked. You can improve your workout immensely by incorporating stretches into your strategy.
Block off a few minutes daily in your schedule for exercise. If you just change little things like walking the stairs instead of taking the elevator you are succeeding.
With the right attitude, getting in shape doesn’t have to be a miserable pursuit. Don’t look at this fitness adventure as a solo mission. So do everything in your power to get the body that you truly want.
