Sit ups and crunches are not the full answer when it comes to getting ripped stomach muscles. Working your abs is great for developing your muscles, but aren’t very effective for burning fat. To get those washboard abs, you need to decrease your body fat by doing cardio exercises and resistance training along with a well-balanced diet.

Staying on any weight loss program requires motivation, and people get motivation by seeing results. Avoid using scales to keep track of your progress. Instead, simply note how you fit and feel in form-fitting clothing. Try these clothes on every week, and you will literally feel how much your life is changing.

Test your bench before starting your workout. Press down to feel the padding and whether or not it can hold your weight. If you can feel the metal or wood underneath the bench, then you should try and find another seat.
